Our tiny dancer...

Last weekend we had the chance to watch M&M perform in her spring recital. She just LOVES getting all dressed up in her dance costume and her favorite part...make-up! She has a great time dancing and has really had a natural talent for it. (Not sure where she got that from since James and I DON'T dance). I never thought I would be a Mom taking her daughter to dance classes and performances, but there's a first for everything. She was even invited by her dance teacher to try-out for the competition dance team. We're still not sure about that since that will be a LOT more dancing and work for Mom :)
Little A has let us know that when she's three she'll be playing soccer and not dancing. We're glad to see that someone wants to continue the family tradition!

I agree that she has a natural talent. She shines on stage and does not seem to have stage fright. She looked beautiful. I enjoyed watching her.

Yes M&M was adorable and very good. And Little A was patient. She sat on my lap during the performance and I'd say "Look there's Makenna!" and she'd look for a minute then go on arranging her papers in her backpack. I think that's great that they have their own interests. (and don't you know it's from her nana that she gets the dance gene!) ;-)

Who does she take dance from? Maddy loves dancing like Angelina the Ballerina--I bet you & James can dance better then we can. Definitely didn't get that gene!

She takes from Dance Unlimited. Debbie Sager is her teacher and is awesome with all the little girls!

Makenna is so cute. I love her and still think of her as the little baby that called me "Binda" and can't believe how old she's getting. I hope I can be a dance mom too someday.
